outlook express 6 error wont start

i got some virus and had to repair intall xp and now i cant get outlook
express to open i get two error messages the first is ( outlook express could
not start the application was unable to open the message store your computer
may be out of memory or disk is full ) followed be a error ( outlook could
not start because msoe.dll could not be initialized may not be installed
correctly ) ive try every thing and it wont start ive even tried to use
outlook office 2003 end i just get more errors
saying cant send or recieve mail can any one help me

Might be corrupt mail box files

Close Outlook/Outlook Express

Find the folder containing .dbx files (inbox.dbx, etc) by searching
for files *.dbx

Backup all the files in that folder somewhere else. If you need to
recover messages from these, that may be possible.

Delete all the .dbx files in the folder

Restart Outlook Express - if it starts it will recreate a basic set of
mail box files.
