Outlook Express 6 - Error Message

I'm getting this error message

"Outlook Express could not be started. The application was unable to open
the Outlook Express message store. Your computer may be out of memory or disc
full. Contact Microsoft support bla bla (0x80004005,183)

The only new things I've done that might be linked to the problem is that I
started using One Note and had to downloab Desk Top Search from the Microsoft
Web site.

This message pops up all the time. OE is working fine. It opens and retrives
messages as normal. Disc space is OK as is Memory.

I've tried, ADD/Remove Windows components, compressed old files, deleted and
allowed the rebuild of the message store file. Looked through anything on the
help side that might give me ideas.

I've also done a disc clean up and defraged because I couldn't think of
anything else to try.

Can anyone help

Windows Desktop Search and AntiVirus may cause the problem.

E-mail scanning is a no no with Outlook express.

The Other E-Mail Threat: File Corruption in Outlook Express

As surprising and ironic as it may seem though, the most common cause of
DBX corruption is not a virus, but rather anti-virus programs that are
configured to scan incoming or outgoing e-mail. Even the most well-known
anti-virus programs have exhibited this problem from time to time.

Is my computer still protected against viruses if I disable Email Scanning?
Disabling Email Scanning does not leave you unprotected against viruses
that are distributed as email attachments. Norton AntiVirus Auto-Protect
scans incoming files as they are saved to your hard drive, including email
and email attachments. Email Scanning is just another layer on top of this.
To make sure that Auto-Protect is providing the maximum protection, keep
Auto-Protect enabled and run LiveUpdate regularly to ensure that you have
the most recent virus definitions.

Desktop Search is designed to be used with XP SP2 or better, which would
imply you have to have IE7 to use it.

I have XP SP2 and do not have Windows Internet Explorer 7.

I use Internet Explorer 6.

Of course I do not have that POS Windows Desktop Search either.
