Outlook Express 6.0 Remember Password

SYMPTOMS

I checked the "Remember Password" box in Outlook Express when setting up my
incoming mail server account, but I am still prompted for a password
whenever I start Outlook. It will not retain the password even though the
box is checked. How do I fix this?
