outlook exprees recv mail

HIHI,
I am using Outlook express 6 on WIN XP.
A problem arised when I first install the XP on this
newly brought notebook.
I can't receive mail by clicking send and recv all
button,instead I have to click the option below which I
have to choose the default server to receive the mail,
and there is only one mail server I have installed into
the outlook express 6. Sending mail has no such problem.
Can someone give me any hint about this issue please.
