Oulook 2003 & Outlook Express

Steve

Hello,

On the same machine I use Outlook Express & Outlook 2003. OE for News
groups, and Outlook for mail, (hotmail & POP)
I added a password to the "Main Identity" for Outlook Express, and have
noticed that occassionally with Outlook 2003 I'm prompted to input that
password... why ?

Also, (again occassionally) I've noticed that when refreshing Send/Recv on
Outlook 2003 the contents of the one / two hotmail mailboxes start to show
the contents of another....this is only resolvable by stopping / restarting
Outlook. The same problem happens in Outlook Express and has arisen in prior
versions too.... perhaps Outlook and Outlook Express have something in
common ?

Probably because you are accessing the OE newsreader from Outlook
