I get the following error message when I try to create a new message in
Outlook 2003.

Run-time error '-2147467259 (80004005)':

Word or Outlook as the E-mail editor?
Do you have any add-in installed?
Tried in Outlook Safe Mode already?

Are you using any addons, like an antispam product that integrates with
Outlook?
If you disable those, does the problem still exist?

Does it happen every time? I would consider ensuring you have the latest
updates for Outlook from Microsoft Update and run a scanpst.exe of the
primary account personal folder.

Unchecked the "Use Microsoft Office Word 2003 to edit e-mail messages" and
the problem seems to have disappeared.

THANX!!

Good to hear but that doesn't completely solve the issue ;-)
Sounds like you either have an add-in installed for Word that doesn't like
it when it combines with Outlook features or an add-in installed for Outlook
that doesn't like having Word as the e-mail editor.

Which add-ins do you have installed?
