Outlook doesn't show incoming message

I've got a problem. After reinstalling W2K & MS Office, I've tuned M
Outlook as it was before reinstalling. I get post by IMAP protocol
Everything working OK, except one thing. I have many subfolders (mor
than 20) in my INBOX and I've configured "rules" by which incoming pos
from concrete peoples is putting to a corresponding subfolder. All th
other post are leaving in INBOX. But now Outlook doesn't show in wha
subfolder letter was transfered (number in parentheses followin
subfolder name) , it only show this number if letter was leaved i
INBOX. And when I'm step by step looking through subfolders and find
new letter then Outlook shows a number in parentheses. Befor
reinsallation there wasn't such problem - Outlook showed new letters i
subfolders right away. Can anybody help me, where is decision of thi
problem

Have you tried an Outlook newsgroup?
No. I have never used newsgroups and even don't know how to se
computer to access newsgroup
