Outlook .doc file opens in Word Pad I want WORD

When I open doc files that come in email it opens them in Word Pad. I want
them to open in Microsoft WORD. How do I change this?

Well, do you actually have *Word* installed?
 
Save your attachment to your desktop. Right click on it and select Open
With. Select Microsoft Word and check the option to always use this program
to open .doc files.
