Outlook demands presence of Outlook Express

I tried to go around my problem that Outlook still demands Outlook
Express to run. Fortunately, there are email agents who run with less
difficulties. Now, I wanted to refresh my contact data on my
smartphoen, and there I am technically blocked an have to use Outlook
that doesn't work. What I don't undertand is that I get an error message
that demands an action which I already did!

The error message says : MS OE 4.01 or a more recent version is
necessary to execute Outlook. Install OE 5.0 through reexecuting the
installation program of Office 2000 or download OE 4.

But I already use the latest OE 6.0 which I downloaded a couple of
days.And with this OE version Outlook doesnt work and prouduces the
weird error message.

I use in Win XP SP2
Outlook 2000 (which I got from my mobile phone provider with the Smartphone)
OE 6.00

Any good ideas appreciated.

You should post your Outlook question in a newsgroup specifically for
