Outlook deleting first email message

When I click on the inbox, outlook automaticly deletes my first email in my
inbox. I do not have any rules pertaining to this.

Are you sure you're not filtering your view to see only unread messages? If
the email was deleted, you would find it in your Deleted Items folder.

Click on View > Current View. What should be checked is Messages. If that's
not the issue, please post back.
