outlook default file

Help, I am trying to open MS Outlook and I keep getting a
pop-up d-fault file message. It also says that it can't
find a location to recive e-mail. I am using MS Office
2000 Professional with windows XP Home Edition.
 
Have you created your mail account settings under Control Panel->Mail Icon?

the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

After searching google.groups.com and finding no answer,
(e-mail address removed) asked:
