Outlook Data File

I made a new User on my Laptop (Casey) and assigned that user to the
Administrator profile.

I set to setup Outlook again under the Casey profile. When I did this step I
could not retrieve the emails that were left behind in the Administrator
profile.

Old directory: C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook

New Directory: C:\Documents and Settings\Casey Bond\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook

I made a new User on my Laptop (Casey) and assigned that user to the
Administrator profile.

I setup Outlook again under the Casey profile. When I did this step I could
not retrieve the emails that were left behind in the Administrator profile.

Further, I have a archived backup, Outook Data File that I want to open up
in my new Casey Profile.

How can I, in theory, combine all my emails from the separate data files and
have all the emails flow into one Inbox?

Note: I am noticing that the 'Casey' Outlook file is growing bigger and
bigger.

Please help!

Thanks!

To combine the data contained in the seperate pst files you would need to
open them all within the instance of Outlook you wish to use, then drag mail
& data from 'old' data files to the active one.

first you need to give each windows acct permission to view the pst in the
other windows acct or move the pst to a shared folder all user have
permission to access. Then open the pst in the profile you wish to use and
move or copy them to the default pst.

I can't open the Outlook *.pst files. I get the following error:

"The file you chose is not an Outlook Data file. You must select a new file
of this type."

Please advise.

Thanks!

Are you sure it’s a pst? (check the file extension and file size - it will
be over 256KB)
Are you using fast user switching and have it opened in outlook in another
profile?
