If you have a contact in both the GAL and a Contacts folder, CTRL-K will
resolve to the first address book encountered and stop. In the Address Book
interface, click Tools>Options and choose the order Outook will use for
resolution.

happening when we are opening the webmail (OWA)
its showing both and not resolving only the first one in order. it is
showing the contacts in the local address book and in the Global
address list

thanks
