Outlook creating zip file with attachments

When I send attachments, instead of the file being sent
as an attached file in the native format (Word,
PowerPoint etc) the file is converted to a zip file. How
can I stop this, or prevent it from occuring?

I have unchecked everything in PKZip's configuration
setup that makes any reference to email.

Uncheck that option under Quick View Plus settings.

the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.
