I am unable to open Outlook completely. After I double-
click on my Outlook icon, it opens, shows my personal
folders on the left and then hangs. After awhile I get a
message (sometimes) that my Personal Folders did not
close properly. A little while later, I get a message
that Outlook has encountered an error and must close. I
have a lot of messages in my e-mail and I don't want to
have to delete the Outlook.pst file and start over. Is
there any way to recover the file???? Help!!!!

sure we can recover ur mails. first, you have to removing ur .pst files from
OL from the control panel->mail->data file->rmv .pst. seconly, copy the .pst
file to another location with a new name , open OL then add the renamed .pst
file . this should work as from your scenerior the location of ur/or .pst is
corrupt.
