outlook crashes when closing - every time - faulting module msmapi32.dll

Hi:

When ever I close Outlook, the program crashes and I get
the following error in the event viewer - application
log. Outlook also asks if I want to restart it.

Error:
"faulting application outlook.exe, version 10.0.2616.0,
faulting module msmapi32.dll, version 10.0.2625.0, fault
address 0x0001e85d"
Event ID: 1000
Type: error
Source: Microsoft Office 10
Category: None

I am connected to a home Windows 2000 server & domain
with Exchange installed BUT I am not using exchange on
this pc. I have a brand new installation of Windows XP
Pro - with Office XP Pro installed. I also have Winfax
Pro 10 installed (problems seems to have started after
installing this program). I have no add-ins checked in
tools/options/other/advanced/ etc...

Any ideas or help ? I installed office service pack 1
and 2 before and it caused more problems than it fixed so
I am loath to do that again.
