Hi All,

I am not sure this will be easy to explain, but here goes anyway. I am
trying to set up each persons computer in the office to access their
personal contacts as well as the company contacts by simply clicking on the
"Contacts" navigation pane in Outlook 2003. As it is now, the only contacts
that appear in the "Contacts" navigation pane are each persons personal
contacts.

The only way to access the company contacts are through our public folder or
through the address book. Is there a way to link to the server stored
company contacts directly to the Contacts navigation pane?

TIA

Rob

The Contacts folder each person has in his or her mailbox will conain only
the contacts s/he adds to it. It is not a repository for the global address
list.

You can put the company contacts into a public folder and then tell users to put that folder in their Public Folder/Favorites.

Thanks Sue! That is exactly what I was looking for!

Is this a "link" to the public folder version or a copy? In other words, if
I add or delete an entry in my public folder address book, will it update
the one in my favorites?

TIA!

Rob

Yes, you'll see any updates in Favorites
