Outlook Contacts: Private?

N

Nancy

Hello. I have a few questions - hopefully someone out
there can help me. Please email me directly as well as
posting to this newsgroup!
- Just bought an IPAQ 1945. In outlook, when I mark a
contact as "private" (next to category), why can I still
see those contacts when I open up Outlook again?
Shouldn't I have to input a password?
- I would like to have the same option on the ipaq - have
some contacts be "private" and not viewable unless I
specify (by putting in a password or something)
- I used to have a PALM - and am just looking for the
same function as "Show private records", "hide private
records".
- Can I set up a password to just open up Outlook?
- With Palm, you can set up your synch so that
either "Desktop overwrites handheld" or "Handheld
overwrites desktop. Any way to do this with IPAQ?

Thank you so much for any help!

If you are using Outlook with an Exchange Server, no other Exchange users
would be able to see that contact, if you were to give them rights to view
the other contacts in your folder. If you are not using Outlook with an
Exchange Server. You will not be able to hide information from other users.

Hope this helps.
