Outlook Contacts and Business Contacts

I just upgraded to Office Professional 2007. I installed BCM and integrated
it with Accounting 2008 Professional. After doing so, clients I had entered
in Accounting were imported into BCM. It all worked fantastic!

So, here is what I was expecting to be able to do, but not so sure I can.
Previously in regular Outlook I would enter contacts and catagorize them as
clients. I would like to import thos clients into BCM so that I don't have to
re-enter all the data. Can I do that? Something like import from Outlook to
BCM all contacts catagorized as clients?

One other thing. If I do that, I will have two duplicate contacts, one in
Outlook contacts and another in BCM. Can those records be linked so a change
affects both or should I delete the duplicate from Outlook contacts?

Wait one more thing! lol. I also installed BCM for mobile 6.0 on my phone. I
haven't synced the data yet, so there are no records in it. When I get a
call, it gets the information from my contacts so I know who is calling. If I
delet my client contacts from Outlook and enter them in BCM, per the previous
question, how will that affect a call? Will I have to maintain my contacts in
both places for the caller ID to work or does it red from the Contacts and
BCM databases on my phone?

To get Outlook contacts into BCM, yes, you CAN import them, using
either BCM's Import function (import from Outlook Contacts) or just
drag the contacts from the outlook Contracts Folder into the BCM
Contacts Folder.

Here is answer to mobile part of your question. BCM mobile will allow
you to sync business contacts and basic communication history. You
will be able to call business contacts. However, the caller ID feature
is missing from business contacts. So, yes you have to maintain
contacts in both places in order to get full phone integation
functionality.
