Hi

I have Outlook 2003 (part of Office 2003 SBE) and installed Outlook
Connector which appears to work ok. My OS is Vista Home Premium

However my Hotmail is no longer backed up, when backing up with Personal
Folders Backup, and Hotmail is not shown as an option within Outlook PFB
Options.

I notice that since installing Outlook Connector the email type for Hotmail
has changed from HTPP to MAPI

How do I get Outlook PFB to include Hotmail?

Thank you

Joco (London)

Correct, the Outlook Connector doesn't use pst-files but ost-files.
Ost-files are local copies of the on-line mailbox and are tied to the
account.
In the event that something happens to this ost-file, you can simply remove
it and the Outlook Connector will make a new copy based on the server
information.

Yes, for instance, I use my Live account to get two other email accounts by
forwarding them to my Live account. But, I just have the one email account
set up and that does not have a "location". If that doesn't make sense, let
me know...

I'm not sure what your question here is.
If the only configured account in Outlook is the Outlook Connector, you
won't see any pst-fles to back up as you don't have any.

It's not my question! I am just commenting.

I understand that I won't have a local file...
