Outlook connector - how to backup calendar - outlook 2003

Jazz

I am currently using outlook 2003 sp3 with outlook connector, as the calendar
is not currently synchronised with my hotmail account how work I
backup/restore my calendar?

I have exported the calendar into a .pst file which is fine however I am
having trouble merging the backed up .pst file with the current calendar file
within outlook.

Is there any suggestion

Am I backing up my calendar correctly (in .pst format?)
Can I replace the calendar within outlook with the one I have backed up (in
..pst format?)

Thanks

Don't use the export/import .PST function, it is and has been broken, it
loses data, and it very often corrupts the Outlook profile in use. The
correct way is to create a new, empty .PST file, then drag and drop the
Calendar contents into it. Recovering data is the opposite, drag it from
the new .PST file and drop it into the old one.

No, of course not. Drag and drop the entire folder.
