Outlook Connector Crash for MSN.com

I tried to load Outlook 2007 beta and it crashed my MSN account with outlook
connector. I tried multiple fixes from the other posts and failed miserably,
and, lost a lot of mail in my inbox. I was able to uninstall Outlook 2007
Beta, and install Outlook 2003 from the original CD. However, I still lost
the eMail. It is using the file mfbrin_msn3.ost. However, I found a file
from last night that is called mfbrin_msn.ost and that is a file that is
about 2x the size, and probably is the ost file that has my old mail. Is
there some way to get to the inbox of this ost file? Can I convert an ost to
a pst and open it that way? Any other ideas?

Thanks,
Mitchell ([email protected])

1) the connector is not supported on ol2007 at this time.
2) no need to recover the ost and in fact, you can't unless you used ghost
before upgrading. All the mail is stored on msn and will redownload.

Diane...thanks for this. Unfortunately, with all of the installations that I
did, I lost a lot from my inbox - both on the web and Outlook. I could not
find a free recovery tool, but there are some fairly expensive OST tools.
Ontrack had a demo/trial version that identified that there were 200+
messages in my old OST, but since it was a trial version, it would not
recover them. Any other thoughts?

ALso, how do I find out when outlook connector will be supported?

Thanks,
Mitchell
