Outlook Connector and WebDAV

I am running Windows 2000 sp4. Is there any way to use Outlook
Connector without using WebDAV? I am behind a firewall that blocks
these requests, and I have no chance of getting the rules changed.

I see the following error message in the Outlook Connector log:
