Outlook collecting same message multiple times

Hi there

My ISP has just provided me with some additional email addresses which I use
for different work projects, all unified by the same ingoing/outgoing mail
server and username / password.

Unfortunately this common information means that when it comes to
downloading my inbound mail from the server, I receive multiple copies of the
same message.

I'm scratching my head trying to work out how to configure either the email
accounts or message rules to prevent this from happening - any suggestions
for a fix?
 
Are these separate mailboxes or just additional addresses to the same
mailbox?

As far as Outlook is concerned, these are all the same account, since the
mailobox is identical for all. Let one account download the messages by
disabling the others in the Send/Receive group.
