Outlook can't login without pc being logged into domain

Brad

I have several users who cannot log into Outlook without
being logged into our domain. They worked fine last week.
(They normally provide the creditials upon opening
Outlook) The only change is a reboot to the exchange 2000
sp4 server. No updates were installed before the reboot.
Any ideas would be appreciated. This is on Outlook XP and
2000. I don't see any obvious errors on the server.
Thanks,

Are the users trying to log in while offline? Do they have OST files
configured? Or, are they set up for another domain for which there is no
trust/or a workgroup/or logging in locally for some reason?

Is Outlook set up to prompt for credentials (by setting 'logon network
security' to 'none' in the advanced properties of the exchange service in
the profile)

Yes the Outlook is set to None for Logon Network
Security. The pc's are logging in locally, but
are "online"(attched to network)when using Outlook. The
users can log into a differenct pc, so the accounts are
ok.

Any reason you aren't having them join/log into the domain? Does this happen
if you do so (and use the defaults for logon network security to password
authentication)?
