Outlook cannot locate server

Outlook 2007 is not sending my messages, I have removed account and entered a
new account. Error message says: Check our login and password, not
connecting to server. This has been fine and now not sending messages. Why?
Is it best to manually configure settings or automatic...? I have tried
both ways. This is the settings I have entered: incoming: mail. server
name.com...outgoing SMTP.server name.com.

Those are not valid server names.
