In Outlook 2002, I turned Word on as my email editor, but when I try to use
it, I get an error message: "This form requires Word as your email editor,
but Word is either busy or cannot be found. The form will be opened into the
Outlook editor instead."

How to I fix this? I'm using Word 2002 on WXP Media Center.

I have not resolved it--you're the first person to respond. I'm also having
problems with my Excel attachments being converted into unopenable
winmail.dat files.

Are you using the version of Outlook 2002 that came with a T-mobile phone by
any chance? This seems to be when my problem started.

I am having the same problem with Outlook/Word and Media Player. My copy of
outlook came in Office XP Pro. I have tried updating with office SP3 and
also tried "Regsvr32.exe %Windir%\System32\Ole32.dll" (with out the "") in
Start-Run. This isn't the end of the world but it is a bit annoying.

I do not have the problem when receiving Excel files.

I hope someone can help. Cheers Jo

In my specific case, I found that if I changed my default signatures to
"none", then tried replying, it would open word fine.

I then changed the signatures back to my default, and it still opens word
fine.

Just my two cents.

Chris
