Outlook calander archives/restores

I archived all my outlook 2003 folders to the default archive.pst, as well as another folder I named in my documents. I did not realize that it would blank out my entire calander events from today on back. I need to restore these to my current calander, such that I can sync with my new PDA. Any suggestions on how to accomplish this, as an import does not seem to do anything . I keep getting now duplicate calanders under the calander personals folder, as well as in two different archive folders. Any help is greatly appreciated.

NEVER import native Outlook data into Outlook - use File->Open->archive.pst
and copy the items into your active Outlook calendar.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.
