Outlook bypassing rules when sent by mailmerge.

Hi,

I am looking for a solution to the following:

I have a rule setup for outgoing mail. When I send directly from
Outlook or from a program the invokes a sendmail requests, the rules
applies well. But when I send an email from a mailmerge within word,
the rule gets bypassed.
Has anyone seen this before?
Does anyone have a solution?

This is normal behavior. Sending with mail merge bypasses the normal Outlook
send mechanism.

The solution, of course, will depend on what your rule does.
