Outlook Beta 2007 (0X800CCC80) flag

This error message on the BETA Outlook-2007 shows in lieu of sending items in
the outbox:

Sending' reported error (0X800CCC80) : 'None of the authentication methods
is supported by this client are supported by your server.'

a) I'm not using a server
b) Although I'm laptop wireless

The same send issue is apparent when I send a test email to myself.

With the exception of this little problem (that wasn't a problem with Office
2003), the new BETA for Office 2007 is pretty comprehensive!

You are using a server...your email server ;)
Check your settings very carefully and compare with the one from your
ISP. Maybe you set SPA or SMTP Authentication when you shouldn't or you
didn't set it when you should.

Make sure your account setup is correct. If you are not on the same network
as the provider of your mailaccount you'll need to configure your outgoing
server (SMTP) for authentication.

If all is set correctly and still not working create a new mail profile;

You guys are right on the numbers......007-Beta has a neat little repair
feature that connected into the server (actually failed the 1st effort and
tried another angle and corrected the POP3 issue that started the confusion)
and matched the correct configs.

Thanks for the advice. It is now a past problem! Thanks!!
