Outlook backup problem

After installing the outlook backup utility, the *.pst files have
disappeared from view???. OS is XP pro. the usual location for the file is
within the users local settings, application, Outlook folder. Now there is
only a .dat and srs and a outlook.fav file...
Even doing a complete hard drive search can't find any current *.pst files??
Where did they go??

Have you searched in hidden folders? WinXP tends to put Outlook .PST files
in hidden folders.
