Outlook automatically deletes some mails

Dear Friends,

My Outlook program moves some mails on arrival to the deleted items folder,
these mails are also greyed out.

While its ok for unwanted junk to get automatically deleted, surprisingly
outlook even deletes genuine mails from some addresses whose other emails go
to inbox perfectly.

How do I correct this problem?

Check your rules - also the Junk and Adult filters if you are using those.
