Hi,

I have recently had to change a user's last name as they had just got
married. I changed the AD account, all Aliases, the X400/500 addresses etc.
Everything has changed except for when I click on my Outlook and I click the
letter of the person's name it comes up in the format name <name>. The
<name> part does not display the new last name. I delete the autofill entry
and then send a new e-mail and it does the same thing. I have cleared the
outlook autofill database etc. I want it to display
name <test> .
Any ideas.....
Thanks
Elvis

either go to send/ receive and download the address book or delete the oab
files in C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook and redownload them again.

Using OL2003 and cached mode? You'll need to make sure the offline address
book has been updated on the Exchange server, and then re-download the OAB
in Outlook.

Hi,

Thanks for the quick response..yes I have outlook in cached mode and I have
performed all the above. but it doesn't resolve my problem.
I have cleared the deleted the entry from the outlook cache, autocomplete
database (NK2). so I retype the persons e-mail address (Member of GAL) to
repopulate the autocomplete feature...which it does but it puts the old
autocomplete entry that I deleted back into the list so it still displays it
incorrectly. please help..

Thanks

Elvis

You haven't mentioned anything about your OAB. If you click on To: and look
at the properties of this recipient in the OAB, what does it say?
