Outlook 'autocomplete'

I've noticed in Outlook Express, when typing an email address, it will
sometimes autocomplete (I'm assuming this is linked to Internet Explorer
autocomplete). i.e. you type jim and it will fill the rest of the email
address in for you... (e-mail address removed)

Is there a way to get Outlook to do this?

Depends on your version, which you did not post.
Outlook 2003 and 2003 have an autocomplete feature.
