When I look at Outlook 2003 emails from my Exchange account on my XP laptop
I see the attachment symbol (paperclip) beside emails, and if I open an
email with the paperclip symbol beside it, Ill see the attacment(s) listed
just below the subject line. There will be a proper icon etc. representing
the file type, and I can easily open o save the attachment from this point
by clicking on the icon. Most of my atachements are xls, doc, & pdf.
I have my account set up on my desktop PC (XP pro) as well, and when I
look at my inbox I have the same emails with paperclips beside them,
however when I open these emails, I have no icon or attachment name below
the subject line. I do however show a file name and size at the bottom of
the actual message text, as part of the message. I went through the process
to copy my pst & ost files off my laptop to see if the problem was within
the 2nd pst file downloaded from the server, however I still get the same
result.
Is it possible that there is a setting within the Outlook 2003 prgm or my
XP mail settings that is causing me to be unable to access valid Outlook
2003 attachments?
