In Outlook 2003 with new message or replys, I try to attach a file with
paperclip. After I select my file, I click open and the program stops
responding.

I'm just a home user on a local PC.

If were to try to attach a file like a picture by using the paper clip, it
would go to brows folder screen like it should. But after I select the file
and then click on open to attach it to my e-mail, the mail message would stop
responding and I would have to close the new message to gain control of
Outlook again.

If I started a new e-mail message, or reply to a e-mail that I received, I
can attach files by just right clicking the START button, then EXPLORE,
browsing to my file location, use the COPY command, and then pasting it in to
my e-mail message. If I do this it works fine.

I just can't attach a file using the paperclip anymore.

Thanks for any help you can give me. If you prefer, I can be e-mailed at
