Outlook as Notes Client.

Hello All Outlook gurus,

Can you please help me. I work for a company where they use Lotus
Notes as the mail server and client. I am sick and tired of notes,
very limited options/features, unfriendly crappy product. I am used to
MS Outlook and I love it. Thinking about using Outlook on my desktop.
Is this possible, can I use Outlook to access my emails (stop using
notes client to access mails on my PC). Basically I want to replace
notes on my PC to access my corporate notes email server. Any link to
tips/tools would be greatly appreciated.

In addition to Patrick's reply, this is really up to your IT
staff/management, at bottom. Most companies have software standards and want
control over what's being run on the desktop, as they have to support it.
Check with your IT folks.
