Outlook as default "Sent To" Mail Recipient

Hi folks --

I am using a computer where the previous user used Mozilla Thunderbird
for e-mail. I now use Outlook 2003.

Although I've set Outlook as the default mail client, whenever I use
the "Send To" Mail Recipient option after right-clicking, the computer
boots Thunderbird.

How can I change this to Outlook?

Thunderbird is still installed on the computer because I sometimes
need to refer back to e-mail stored there.

Thanks

A.

I don't think the OP said it was. He just wants to know how to change the
behavior of the Send To Mail Recipient link so that it uses Outlook. Are you
suggesting, maybe, that a WinXP group is more appropriate?

Either that or a Mozilla issue. OP said he already set Outlook to be the
default mail client, so I assumed he already knew how to do that. It appears
Thunderbird has commandeered those settings.

For example, it may have reset the URL:MailToProtocol. Under Registered File
Types, click to select URL:MailToProtocol, and then click Edit. In the
Actions list, click Open, and then click Edit. What appears there?

In Thunderbird, Tools> Options> General Tab --- Change the settings.
