PROBLEM STATEMENT:

When archiving messages in a folder to a .PST file,
Outlook uses the date of the last time the message
was "moved" from one folder to another instead of
the "receive date" of the message, as the effective date
for archiving.

I feel that this is a deficiency in the archive function.

Can anyone suggest a fix to this problem ?
 
There is no fix, the Archive function uses the modified date or rather the
fix is not to move the item.
 
Other than manually moving, I dont believe there is a solution to the
modified date setting
