outlook Archive folder

can not find my old emails ( before June 19th) I think they are archived but
when I look in the archive folder on the folder list it seems empty. I follow
the file- open- outlook data file seems empty.



I went to C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook I see archive and it gets me to an Office Data File
(.pst) I get a “caution†blah blah blah … if you still want to open it click
open with … once I do that, I don’t have a program associated with opening
the file.



Where can I find my old email?



I checked auto archive settings and the computer is not set to delete the
older files where are they going?

Properties of yr archive folder will reveal the path & file name.
The archive settings will show where & under what circumstances data is
being archived
The archive folder is simply an outlook data file (Set of personal folders)
You can only open an outlook data file within outlook by; File>Open>Data
File
