Everytime I get an Xcel attachment..it opens up encrypted into Wordpad. I
have to save it to my Xcel documents before I'm able to read it. Could I get
some advise on how I may fix this.

When you save it to the desktop and just double click on the file, does it
open up in wordpad or in the right application?

I'm going to guess it opens in wordpad since Outlook should just use the
same file associations as the system itself. Right click on the file, select
properties and change the application its associated with to the proper app.
 
Yes, when I save it to the desktop, it does open in Wordpad. Thanks for the
tip. I have changed the application and it now opens correctly. Thanks again.
