Outlook and Exchange

Dear all,

1. one of my user want his personal POP3 mail account and exchange based
account(planning to store the exchange based mail as pst) under one profile
and for both accounts he need to keep one personal folder - is that possible?
2. When he travels he like to keep the mail(exchange based mail - like to
connect through VPN) in the exchange itself(not to download in to the pst),
and when he back to the office, simply download all the mail in to the pst.
3. Within office, can he keep POP3 mail as the default mail account.(he like
his personal pop3 to send and receive external mails and exchange based
account only to send receive internal only)

Can I know is that possible in OL2003 with Exchange 2000.

Please advise

Regards

No. Delivery can be to one location only - to a PST file or to the Exchange
mailbox. You could have this user use two profiles - one for Exchange, one
for POP/PST.

Don't use a PST in an Exchange profile.

Not if you set it up as I suggested above to meet his requirements of not
storing personal mail in his Exchange mailbox. Have Exchange handle all
Internet mail for your business/domain, and keep POP accounts entirely
isolated - it's much better that way, I think. He could even use OE for his
POP account instead of Outlook. Users should not be deciding on their own
"standards" - management should, with the input of IT from the admin
standpoint.
