Has anyone had luck using Outlook and Avast? I can receive but not send.
Having no problem using Outlook Express. Using Verizon DSL for my ISP,
Outlook 2002. Keeps saying check email address. Any ideas????

And what is Avast? Have you checked with their tech support? If you remove
it, does Outlook work again?

I use Avast and Outlook 2002 - no problems at all. Have you checked your
Avast! setup?

Yes, including trying the Avast Newsgroup. If you are using both would you
check your settings? None of my settings changed in Outlook but in Outlook
Express it's using the 127.0.0.1 for server and
(username)#incoming.verizon.net. Did you outlook settings change at all?

No - I just installed Avast! and let it use the default settings.
