outlook and ADSL

I posted this question before, but not sure I did correct. I just ADSL
through my local phone company and now I cannot send and e-mail in outlook
2002. Keep getting error message saying "cannot connect to SMTP server" ANy
help would be qppreciated.

many internet providers make you use their SMTP servers - many SMTP servers
need you to supply a password to send mail.

how is your account configured and do you get any type of error code?
