I am experiencing duplications of calender items on my
desktop, although only one event shows on my PDA. These
appear to happen post the event, as I have only noticed it
when looking back in my diary for the date of an old
meeting. Not all events have been duplicated (any
recurring events seem unaffected) Has anyone experienced
similar, or could advise on how to restore the calendar to
only showing one instance of these events

How soon does the duplication occur (i.e. what's the most recent duplicate)
and have you tried not synching the data with your PDA for a period, just to
see if it's the synch process that's causing the difficulty?

Upgrade to the latest synch software (is it PalmOS or PocketPC?) and make
sure there's nothing untoward in the settings for your synch partnerships.
I'm sure you've done all this, but the first step is to rule out or blame
your PDA synch process.

Does it only happen on appointments where you have an
alarm set? If you dismiss the alarm on the computer or
PDA when it is not in the cradle, it seems to make a
duplicate or conflicting event.

I don't know of a solution, except I don't have it remind
me of as many events.
