Contact Anniversaries & Reminders

Outlook 2007, WinXP

When I enter a date of birth or anniversary into a contact, Outlook
automatically enters that anniversary entry as a recurring entry into my
calender. Which functionality I want. However, there are two annoying
"bugs". Firstly, Outlook always enters a reminder which I do not want.
Secondly, if I edit the contact, Outlook re-enters the recurring event,
creating duplicate recurring events.

Anyone else experiencing these and/or know how to fix them?

On the first, you need to disable reminders for everything or change it for
the birthdays/anniversaries.

Are you editing the contact in outlook or on a handheld?

Thanks Diane.

I have reminders universally disabled.

I normally only edit in Outlook. Occasionally on a WinMobile device.
