Outlook Address Book Options Grayed Out

When looking at Contact Properties and the "Outlook Address Book" tab, the
check box to 'Show this folder as an e-mail Address Book' and the 'Name of
the address book:' are grayed out and can not be checked or modified. I am
guessing this is what is making the "Contact" not available to send emails
from. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Add the Outlook Address Book Service to your profile.
I'll assume you know how since you did not provide your Outlook version.

Sorry it is Outlook 2003. I am not sure how to add the Outlook Address Book
service to the profile.

Thanks, John

Tools | Email Accounts | Add a new directory or address book.
Restart Outlook.
Then make sure your Contacts Folder is enabled as an email address book.
