Outlook 97,,questions, thanks

I have just started using an Outlook 97, (it fills a need),but I would
like to ask a few quetions, hope someone out there remembers the
answers. One, how do I set up this email program to 'check the
mail' regularly,,,, say every five minutes ??? And second, can I
really fax with this program??? and third,,, what would it cost to
'update' Outlook??? thanks in advance. cl. 73

1) Tools-> Options-> tab Mail Setup-> button Send/Receive? Otherwise I would
check the Advanced tab on accountproperties

2) Fax? When you've got a modem or use a mail to fax server (or service on
the web) it should be possible

3) The price depends a little a very (very) quick search left me with around
100$
