Outlook 97 and windows XP

Hi I just bought a cheap version of office 97 because I
needed access, and I am trying to set up that version of
outlook with my windows XP. I can't figure out how to
set it up to get my e-mail from my broadband connection.
Can anyone help?

Consulting your broadband carrier would be the best way to start for
configuration information.
