outlook 3 with Vista

I recently got a new computer with Vista. Since then, opening e-mails,
calendar items, etc. takes forever. It's almost like it hangs for 10-15
seconds before opening anything up. I had SecureZip Attachment options
selected but those have been disabled. Does anyone have any suggestions?

You are not providing any info to work with here.
Could this be a Dell perhaps? If so verify that OutlookAddin isn't
installed. Dell preloads their machine with this and breaks Outlook in many
ways.

Sorry. It is a Dell. I tried looking for this OutlookAddin and I can't find
it. I went to Add/Remove Programs and looked for that and anything by
Cyberlink. Where should I be looking?

If it's not there it is ok. Since you didn't specify anything on your issue
I just did a wild guess.

You might at least tell us your Outlook version.
Do things work snappy in Outlook Safe Mode?
Start-> Run; outlook.exe /safe

Try disabling the add-ins and other things in outlook. Then enable
them one by one see if one of those are the culprit. Also do you have
the outlook connector running if your using MSN too. Take one email
account at a time out see if that helps.

I have Outlook 2003.
Can't seem to get Safe Mode to come up. Start Run doesn't exist on Vista.
Just has Start/Search and that comes up with nothing when I type
outlook.exe/safe

Windows Key - R will pull it up.
